In one thing I can be agree with you; after the 11 September the media have started to scare the people every single day. The people was terrified and everyone was thinking about a tragedy. This was probably a strategy of the american government who has increased this fear in order to be supported for the war. Maybe this was the only way to conquer the public opinion.
